The Headmaster confronts Batty while Mirai and Riko enter Dokuroxy's hideout via a mind-activated door. The Headmaster identifies Dokuroxy as his former friend Kushi, who sought the Linkle Stone Emerald using forbidden magic. Overwhelmed by dark magic that ages him, the Headmaster is defeated. Dokuroxy steals the Linkle Smarthon containing Ha-chan, forcing the Cures to battle him. The Linkle Stone Emerald awakens, transferring power to the device. Dokuroxy absorbs this energy to become all-powerful.
