Reduced travel time between worlds allows students to attend Magic School more frequently. Riko fills her room with art supplies, prompting a sleepover in Jun’s quarters. The group enjoys their time while evading the patrolling Vice-Principal. Jun presents Riko with a birthday doll, noting how much more enjoyable life has become since Mirai’s arrival. Concurrently, the Headmaster investigates the tree where Kushi vanished. He encounters Orba, who summons a Boat Don-Yokubal upon the Cures' arrival. The Cures defeat the monster, but Orba exploits the distraction to recover Kushi’s spellbook, which remained after Dokuroxy’s death.
