Despite the opportunity, Akane makes a sudden decision to elope with Kazuya rather than accept the position. In a separate event, two Meister Otomes from different nations engage in combat against one another. The narrative highlights the difficult choices characters face regarding personal relationships versus professional obligations within their society.
