Ginta and the rest of Team MÄR, aided by Pozun's Andarta, launch an assault on Lestava castle to save Snow. Their path is blocked by a barrier of Chess Pieces, including the Knight Magical Roe, who is identified as the culprit behind Snow's abduction. During the confrontation, Magical Roe, having previously been defeated by Ginta and Alan, acknowledges his mistakes. He ultimately decides to sacrifice his own life to ensure the princess's safety, a selfless act that leaves both Ginta and Alan in a state of shock.
