Ep. 10: Matsugorou Cup Individual Competition Begins with Pressure on Setsu

The Matsugorou Cup individual competition starts, bringing Ryuugen from Aomori to evaluate Setsu, which increases the pressure on him. While preparing, Setsu learns that Souichi and Mai are adopted and not blood-related. Umeko and Ryuugen argue heatedly because Ryuugen wants Setsu to inherit the Kamiki school, a plan Umeko opposes. Ushio performs next; despite poor posture and an unconventional style, the crowd responds positively to his energy. Kaji follows with a strong start, but his performance is interrupted when a string on his shamisen snaps.
