Kizuna is appointed captain of the megafloat's defense unit, the Amaterasu. He is dispatched to an uninhabited island to locate essential resources for the mission. The operation initially appears secure but quickly becomes hazardous due to a miscalculation that leads the team directly into a Magitech ambush. During the attack, Kizuna finds his Eros gear severely underpowered, leaving him vulnerable. Simultaneously, Yurishia faces a critical situation as her energy reserves drop to dangerously low levels.
