Tsuzuki Takumi is a high school student who co-runs a confectionery called "Stray Cats" with his sister-in-law, Otome, who is known for her kindness and willingness to help others. One day, Otome brings home a runaway girl named Kiriya Nozomi. As Nozomi begins working as a pastry chef at the shop, she slowly becomes more open and connected to them.

Apr 6, 2010Fumino notices cat ears behind a trash can on her way to school. Later, Takumi and his friends find a cake order has been eaten. Ieyasa blames a young boy, who claims a large cat did it. Remembering the morning sighting, Fumino teams up with the boy to find the creature. Ieyasa and Chise also hunt the cat for their own reasons, competing with Fumino. After failing to catch the figure, Otome returns home the next day. She presents the strange cat to Takumi and the others, revealing it is actually a human girl.
