They discover a secret third-level entrance and hire Rim, a dragon-girl, for protection in exchange for food. Despite high profits, Kinji’s expenses cause his debt to grow. He uses a fallen hero’s staff to hypnotize coworkers, but the staff breaks, leading to his severe punishment. With no funds left, Rim threatens to eat Kinji.
EP 2Kinji Transforms Into an Ant to Unionize the Colony and Confront the Queen
Jul 16, 2021Kinji and Wanibe join a hazardous exploration unit, but Wanibe’s injury forces Kinji to work harder while receiving less pay. With no funds to feed Rim, Kinji faces a crisis when monster ants invade the mine. To survive, he uses a potion to transform himself, an elite warrior, and an equipment manager into ants. Trapped after their boss seals the mine, Kinji discovers he can understand the ants’ language. He organizes a union to demand better treatment from the Ant Queen, who expanded into the mine after Rim stopped eating her workers. When the Queen rejects their demands and chooses to kill the workers, Rim appears, hungry. Kinji feeds her, impressing the Queen with his control over the creature that has plagued her colony. Wanibe returns to work as Kinji reveals his plan to seize the Raiza 'ha Mining Corporation and establish his own Dungeon Black Company with Rim and the Ant Queen’s support.
EP 3Corporate training trip turns into dungeon blackmail scheme
Jul 23, 2021Shia, a Hero for Raiza ‘ha Corporation, recruits Kinji and Wanibe after finding a Philosopher's stone. The pair endure brutal conditioning at an island training center to boost loyalty. Kinji, having resisted brainwashing with special plants, helps Wanibe break free. They destroy the facility and kill the instructors using fire spells. Sent to Exploration Group 3, Shia supervises them but remains fiercely loyal to the corporation. When she attempts to kill Kinji’s favorite ant, Ant A, Kinji summons Rim for protection. After capturing Shia, Kinji photographs her with Rim and the Ant Queen. He uses these images to blackmail her into secretly working for his Dungeon Black Company, despite his earlier attempts to expose corporate exploitation.
EP 4Kinji repays debt via monster farm while Rim saves him from Majin resurrection
Jul 30, 2021Kinji faces a one-month deadline to repay five million gold. After learning monster parts hold value, he constructs a farm to harvest them without killing the creatures, successfully settling his debt. Belza, Raiza’ha’s Director, explains that the approaching Death March allows for massive profits through regeneration and the resurrection of a Majin, which demands a hero’s sacrifice. When the Majin targets Shia, Kinji teleports it to the surface, destroying the mine. He sets ant traps as it returns, but Shia insists on fighting. Kinji reprimands her for trying to surpass her father, the King of Failed Adventures, leading Shia to realize she should live for herself. She defeats the Majin but breaks her sword. As the creature revives to eat Kinji, Rim intervenes, consuming the Majin and noting its unnatural resurrection. A familiar teleportation circle from Japan opens, pulling Kinji and Rim inside.
EP 5Kinji meets Ranga and Zazel, then discovers the future corporation Raiza’ha and his evolved friend Ant.
Aug 6, 2021Kinji awakens and encounters Ranga, a cross-dressing male priestess, and Zazel, the leader of an underground village in a city built by the ancient Calonian civilization. Zazel explains that an evil corporation seized global control three hundred years ago and tasks Kinji with stopping them. Kinji realizes he is in Amuria three centuries in the future, where the corporation is Raiza’ha. He visits a castle owned by General Ant, Demon Lord Belza’s deputy, who is actually Kinji’s friend Ant A transformed into a powerful monster. General Ant governs fairly, requiring forty-hour work weeks with benefits, but faces complaints from lazy future humans. With Belza absent, Kinji assumes the role of General Ninomiya, enforces labor discipline, restores profitability, and takes over the underground city, replacing Zazel as leader.
EP 6Generals assign Kinji to defeat a hypnotizing robot while Ranga faces her lineage.
Aug 13, 2021Generals Rou Gine, Power Ash, and Zechs Haller view Kinji as a threat. Power attempts an ambush with worm monsters, but Rim defeats them. Rou tasks Kinji with farming the wasteland, which he achieves using the worms. Zechs discovers Ranga is biologically male and tries to blackmail her, but lust overcomes him. The generals send Kinji on an impossible mission. Ranga wakes in a dream resembling Alice in Wonderland, where Queen Belza reveals Ranga is her descendant and offers carefree living. A Kinji white rabbit urges agreement, but the real Kinji headbutts Ranga awake. The generals sent them to defeat a hypnotizing robot, which Rim destroys. Kinji encourages Ranga to pursue her own goals separate from Belza. Having defeated the robot, Kinji is invited to meet the Demon Lord, who asks him to save the world.
EP 7Kinji travels back in time to stop Raiza’ha from seizing Calonian technology and ruling the world.
Aug 20, 2021The Demon Lord, revealed as Rim’s resurrected twin sister Majin, explains that the Calonian civilization created dungeons to manage planetary magic. Rim’s abandonment of Raiza’ha allowed the entity to access advanced Calonian technology beneath the dungeon, leading to her takeover and transformation of corporate slaves into robots. After Majin briefly defeated Raiza’ha, the entity returned to create a biological-free dystopia. She offers Kinji a choice: return to Japan or travel back in time to prevent Raiza’ha’s rise. Kinji chooses the latter, arriving as an employee of Raiza’ha where he is fined 10 million gold for a month-long absence. Consequently, he, Rim, Ranga, and Wanibe move into Shia’s flat. Kinji devises a plan to reach the dungeon’s bottom and the Calonian city before Belza, aiming to capture the technology and seize global control first.
EP 8Kinji acquires a mana-draining weapon that threatens to strip his party bare.
Aug 27, 2021Kinji discovers the dungeon has grown more perilous, prompting Shia to enforce rigorous training. He learns that living beings can absorb natural mana to enhance physical capabilities, a trait Kinji lacks due to his origin in a mana-less world. While observing Ranga interact with a broken future gun, Rem attempts to consume it, causing the device to absorb her mana and demand a password. Kinji inadvertently unlocks it by suggesting QWERTY. Recognizing the weapon's potential to offset his physical limitations, Kinji returns to the dungeon to rejoin Belza’s adventurers. He utilizes the gun against monsters, but its rapid battery drain forces it to siphon mana from the environment, including the magic fibers in their attire, leaving the group nearly nude. Following punishment from Shia, Kinji considers discarding the gun, only to discover it possesses a stalker-like personality that threatens self-destruction if abandoned.
EP 9Kinji exposes zombie potion scheme and aids Cindy in dungeon shop
Sep 3, 2021Kinji joins naked adventurers to investigate zombies, discovering they are hypnotized by a poster to brew illegal potions. Ranga destroys the poster, freeing the zombies. The group finds Kinji confronting an undead mage who seeks revenge for past humiliation by forcing adventurers to work to death. Kinji reveals that modern adventurers already embody the mage’s hated concept of corporate drones, allowing the spirit to pass on. Kinji then strikes a deal with Cindy, a struggling shop manager, promising to fill her store with customers in exchange for discounted equipment. Although he profits by selling ineffective zombie potions as nutrient drinks, Raiza’ha shuts down the business. With Cindy confident in her independence, the group proceeds to the next dungeon level.
EP 10Rim cares for the sick Majin while Kinji restores the fourth floor ecosystem.
Sep 10, 2021Rim dreams of a horned girl while Kinji learns that maintenance workers are trapped on the fourth floor because the doors to the third and fifth floors are blocked. Belza’s bodyguards remain stuck on the fifth floor, guarded by two powerful monsters near the sixth floor entrance. The Ant Queen arrives with her colony, fleeing earthquakes, and brings Majin, the horned girl who became the dungeon’s new guardian after Rim left. Majin is unwell, making the dungeon more dangerous. Rim hunts food for Majin without eating, but Majin reacts violently, upsetting Rim. She confesses guilt over defeating Majin, which weakened her. Kinji and others restore the fourth floor’s ecosystem through forestry and animal husbandry while Rim tends to Majin. After recovering, Majin is named Sky by Rim. Sky suddenly falls seriously ill as the fifth floor door opens, allowing two monsters to multiply into dozens and overwhelm the bodyguards.
EP 11Kinji Seizes Dungeon Control and Transforms the Business Landscape
Sep 17, 2021Kinji saves the bodyguards while Rim defeats the monsters, then locates floor six. There, he reveals he scouted ahead with his pistol to find a magical artifact that grants him command over all dungeons. Leading an army of monster guards aboveground, he confronts Belza with enough jewels to clear his debts, causing her to quit her job. Three months later, Kinji converts the dungeon into a theme park with Ranga as his assistant and begins acquiring other abandoned dungeons. He manages dungeon magic independently, turning them back into profitable mines run by the Ant Queen, while Shia starts a new career. Kinji undermines Raiza’ha’s profits by flooding the market with cheap demonite and launching a magazine-based delivery service for adventuring equipment. Thanks to Wanibe’s research, these items are cheaper and higher quality. He also ends discrimination against demi-humans by employing them with equal rights. Belza becomes an alcoholic tormented by Ranga, who knows her childhood history, and suddenly invents a revenge plan against Kinji using Shia.
EP 12Kinji’s Release and Global Ambitions After Betrayal
Sep 24, 2021Kinji faces arrest and torture orchestrated by Belza, who coerced Shia into false testimony. Shia later heals Kinji after realizing the manipulation, recalling a manual he wrote. A month later, Belza becomes Raiza’ha’s Director but is stunned when Kinji is released and appointed CEO. Wanibe explains that Kinji’s manual guided them to acquire 40% of Raiza’ha stocks and secure 15% more support, granting majority ownership. Raiza’ha merges into Kinji’s company, where he forces Belza to work with Ranga to mend their relationship. Though victorious, Kinji feels unhappy. Ranga notes his Japanese origins and potential return. Kinji admits he prefers the chase over the win but decides to expand globally, conquer dungeons in other nations, and control the entire world.
