Ichihashi directs them to the nurse's office, where "shi" is found under a bed and behind a scale. These clues spell "yougusitsu," pointing to a tool shed that was removed ten years ago. Despite the apparent loss, Conan suspects foul play regarding Mrs. Kobayashi's computer access. Realizing the true location, he alerts the Detective Boys. The culprit flees the reunion to the animal shed, but Conan confronts them as the group arrives with shovels.
