Ayumi notices a man whose face resembles a wanted fugitive after he blows his nose. She contacts Conan, Haibara, Genta, and Mitsuhiko to discuss the five-year manhunt and the reward. Koji Tanaka joins them upon seeing the suspect but insists on chasing the individual alone, asking the children to call the police. The suspect escapes into the river, prompting Conan, Haibara, and the Detective Boys to rescue him using an Elasticity Suspender.
