The police reveal Hades Sabara created the note. Shinichi researches Hades, finding he was originally good but became a cold-blooded serial killer after his mother died. He murdered people who hounded him for money and friends who advised him to invest in the stock market. While on the run, Hades met Hestia, an expert in bombing, who apparently committed suicide.
