Ep. 731: The Ex-Boyfriend Living Next to a Crime Scene (Part 1)
Aired on March 1, 2014

731
Conan and the Detective Boys encounter Naeko Miike and Yumi Miyamoto discussing Yumi's ex-boyfriend. Naeko receives a call from Sakurako Yonehara regarding a deceased body. Police initially classify the death as suicide, but Conan identifies discrepancies in the torn suicide note. The note uses the victim's full name, whereas her other writings only feature her first name. Additionally, the torn note does not align with the victim's notebook pages. These inconsistencies suggest foul play, shifting the investigation from suicide to a potential murder case.
