Kogoro feels unwell and seeks a restroom, but upon returning, he experiences weakness after consuming a poisonous mushroom. Conan explains that ingesting this specific mushroom causes the eater to perceive its deliciousness while simultaneously feeling the effects of the poison. The group is thus drawn to the location by the incident, leading to Kogoro's sudden illness from the toxic fungus.
