Ep. 12: Ren loses to Takanosuke, prompting Shinobu to challenge him with a new technique.

Zyro, Mal, Shinobu, and Benkei arrive at BeyPark to find Ren battling Takanosuke. Ren’s Thief Phoenix is defeated by Takanosuke’s Archer Griffin, shocking the group. Zyro wants to fight Takanosuke, but Shinobu believes he is the right challenger to develop his own special move. Takanosuke eagerly accepts the challenge from the Invincible Salamander. In the Zero-G Stadium, Shinobu struggles against Archer Griffin’s overwhelming power and its disorienting howling. Determined to turn the tide, Shinobu focuses his heart and mind to create a new technique. Ninja Salamander generates multiple illusions to confuse Takanosuke. Although Griffin attacks every clone, it is too late to find the real one. Shinobu’s final blow secures the victory, marking the successful creation of his first special move.
