Rouge and Naomi board a bus to traverse Mars while searching for the next member of the Immortal Nine. Their journey is interrupted when a convoy of armed vehicles attacks their transport. The attackers are revealed to be mercenaries specifically targeting Rouge. The bus manages to escape the assault by fleeing into a nearby forest. However, the vehicle subsequently breaks down, leaving the passengers stranded in the woods.
