Ep. 12: Kobeni seeks Hakuya and Mashiro in the mountains after receiving a cryptic text message.

Worried about Hakuya and Mashiro, Kobeni receives a text stating they returned to the mountains. Mayura advises her to investigate personally. Kobeni takes shelter from the snow but is discovered by the pair, who had only gone to harvest rare edible plants. A snowstorm intensifies, causing Kobeni to develop another fever. Hakuya leaves to find help while Mashiro gathers firewood. Delirious and fearing abandonment, Kobeni wanders alone and nearly falls off a cliff, but Hakuya rescues her. He promises to be more open with her. The group then returns home to resume their daily routines.
