Ep. 4: Kobeni Recovers From Fever While Hakuya Receives Family Letter

After learning about Hakuya, a frail Kobeni develops a fever. Benio confesses to Mashiro and Hakuya that she feels guilty for making Kobeni take her place during a past incident so she could play. While the others attend school, Kobeni stays home alone. Mashiro returns immediately after classes to visit, where Kobeni reveals the scar from that event. Feeling slightly better the next day, Kobeni chases after Hakuya, who fled because he struggled to face her. She expresses her gratitude despite her memory loss and admires his smile. That evening, Mashiro and Hakuya receive a letter from their family announcing that someone will be sent to check on them.
