The group encounters Niton, a snail-like merchant who sells them inferior goods and a fraudulent mystery disk intended for Holly's dagger. Enraged by the deception, they pursue him, only to be ambushed by the Jells who trap and bury them on the beach. With the tide rising rapidly, Holly pleads with Niton for assistance. He eventually regains his conscience, rescues the buried group, and provides a refund for the defective items.
