Naga dispatches the Tainted Kat Brothers to eliminate Genki and his companions. During the attack, Mocchi and Genki become separated from the main group and encounter Kato, the former mentor of the Tainted Kat Brothers. Kato proceeds to train both Genki and Mocchi in combat skills. Through this training and their interactions, the two protagonists assist the Tainted Kat Brothers in recognizing their error in betraying their mentor, leading to a resolution of their conflict.
