Ep. 12: Lala and Haruna bond at the water park while Rito confesses his feelings to multiple girls.

Following previous events, Lala supports Haruna’s romantic pursuit of Rito during a water park visit. Yami displays unusual gentleness toward Rito, while Yui feels embarrassed in her swimsuit. Saruyama notes Rito’s increased comfort around girls since Lala’s arrival. During a concert by Run and Kyouko, an alien amoeba attacks, suffocating the crowd. Lala attempts to save Haruna, who is consumed by the creature. Rito sacrifices himself to rescue both girls. As they fight to save him, Rito realizes his love for Lala. After Yami and Lala defeat the amoeba, Rito privately admits his love for both Lala and Haruna. Lala suggests Rito marry them both. Peke remarks that Rito will become king of Universe Earth, rendering human laws irrelevant. Lala pushes Rito toward Haruna to confess, but Oshizu accidentally rips Haruna’s swimsuit, causing her to flee. Rito’s confession is misdirected to Nana, Yui, Ryouko, and Run, prompting Lala to happily propose that Rito marry all the girls so they can remain together.
