Ep. 1: Jin joins Ranka's pack after defeating bear attackers and a zebra bully at Seton Academy.
In a world of humanoid animals, human Jin Mazama attends Seton Academy and meets short-tempered wolf Ranka Okami. He calms her with meat and joins her pack, but attraction to fellow human Hino Hitomi causes Ranka to challenge her. Jin notes species norms, but Ranka cites past bullying by bear cubs, which Jin realizes he tried to stop, causing his animal hatred. Ranka grows upset when Jin joins the Cooking Club with Hitomi. After Jin defeats zebra Mashima Kuroe by exposing her donkey-like traits, Hitomi is attacked by three bears. Ranka fights them while Hitomi escapes. Jin uses bear spray, but the bears recover. Giant T-rex teacher Gigasu Terano chases them away. Grateful, Jin and Hitomi join Ranka's pack, where she licks their mouths in acceptance.
