Ep. 5: Cooking Club Competes in Field Day with Animal Friends
Ranka urges the cooking club to join Field Day, but only Miyubi agrees initially. They train while assisting naked mole rats with the field. Hitomi and Jin eventually join, though Kuroe’s donkey friends cannot compete due to insufficient numbers. Miyubi runs fast due to a cold, and the team loses morning events to the tool-using Chimpanzee leader Pan Saruhama. Jin recruits the donkeys for a snowy mountain footrace, and Yukari defeats gorilla-boys in arm wrestling. Jin wins the endurance race using human stamina. After Hitomi is drugged, Miyubi swims in her place, leading until Pan nearly drowns her with a boat. The crowd cheers as she finishes before collapsing. Ranka wins the final jungle race, teaching Pan a lesson. The club wins first place and lets the donkeys use their room.
