Their bond strengthens, leading them to plan a wedding and invite their friends to celebrate and formalize their relationship. However, Rudeus faces new challenges as the research he assists Shizuka Nanahoshi with encounters a setback, causing her to fall into a deep depression similar to what he once experienced. A letter from his father, Paul, introduces further tension in Rudeus' personal life, and Sylphiette remains largely unaware of his true past.
