Nana K. encounters Nana O. during an apartment search and agrees to split the rent for room 707, despite Nana O.'s existing plans. Junko and Shoji worry about this arrangement since the two barely know each other, with Shoji offering Nana K. a place to stay. She refuses, insisting on independence, but begins experiencing delusions that Shoji is cheating with a fictional character named Sachiko. As Junko, Kyosuke, and Shoji assist with the move, they meet Yasu. His reliability convinces the group to accept Nana K.'s new living situation, easing their previous concerns about her decision to live apart from Shoji.
