Following complaints about an impromptu concert, Nana K. fears a ghost in room 707 and sleeps with Nana O. while Nobu uses her bed. The next day, Shoji declines further time with Nana K. due to school and work. Meanwhile, Nobu hopes for Yasu’s return as drummer. Nana K. assists Black Stones in recruiting a new bassist named Shin, who also helps secure a practice studio. Nana O. accepts Shin into the band after recognizing his style resembles Ren’s. Concurrently, Shoji trains a new hire at work named Sachiko. While escorting her home, he realizes she is attracted to him.
