Their shared objective is to defeat the Holy Knights, who have staged a coup d'état and successfully overthrown the king, thereby restoring order to the kingdom through their combined efforts.

Meliodas Removes Sword Blocking Bernia's Ale Production and Defeats Gilthunder's Spear

Gilthunder embeds his sword in Bernia, halting the village's primary income from ale production. Despite numerous failed attempts by residents to extract the blade, Meliodas effortlessly removes it, earning praise as a savior during a celebration at the Boar Hat. Suspecting the removal was accidental, Gilthunder tests Meliodas by launching a power-infused spear at the town. Meliodas catches the projectile and throws it back with ease, resulting in the destruction of Fort Solgales. This sequence of events highlights the disparity in strength between the two characters while resolving the immediate crisis for the villagers of Bernia.

The trio visits the dangerous Forest of White Dreams to find the sleeping Serpent of Envy.

Meliodas, Hawk, and Elizabeth journey into the Forest of White Dreams, a location avoided by Holy Knights. Prankster Imps residing there impersonate Hawk and Elizabeth to mislead the group. After defeating the imps, the trio locates Diane, the Serpent's Sin of Envy, asleep in the forest. Gilthunder arrives suddenly and uses lightning magic to bind everyone present. Meliodas engages Gilthunder in combat, intentionally allowing himself to be slashed by the Holy Knight. Feigning death from the severe wound, Meliodas extracts information regarding the locations of King and Ban, two other members of the Seven Deadly Sins, under the guise of a final request.

Meliodas and companions reach Dalmary while Ban escapes Baste Dungeon

After expelling Gilthunder from the forest, Meliodas, Hawk, Elizabeth, and Diane travel to the Baste Dungeon where Ban is held. Upon arriving in Dalmary Town, Meliodas receives treatment from Dana. Diane and Elizabeth discuss their mutual envy before being attacked by Holy Knight Friesia, who attempts to destroy the town and the Deadly Sins. Diane swiftly eliminates Friesia's insects. Meanwhile, Ban breaks out of his cell but is confronted by Jericho. Dana then reveals that the medicine Meliodas consumed was actually a deadly poison. At this moment, Golgius suddenly appears, adding to the escalating tension in Dalmary as the group faces these unexpected threats and revelations.

Meliodas Awakens From Poison While Ban Is Ambushed By Jude

Golgius attempts to retrieve Elizabeth and Meliodas' sword to return it to Liones. Meliodas suddenly awakens unaffected by the poison, releasing an aura that forces Golgius to flee. The pair heads toward Baste Dungeon but encounters a confused Diane. After hearing a bell, Diane attacks the group. Meliodas and Elizabeth attempt to escape, recruiting two shepherds along the way. However, Meliodas is soon affected by the same bell and begins fighting Diane. In Baste Dungeon, Ban wanders after dealing with Jericho. Jude of the Weird Fangs finds him and promptly stabs Ban in the chest.

Meliodas and Diane battle hallucinations while Ruin’s deception is exposed in Baste Dungeon

Meliodas and Diane remain trapped in a fighting frenzy caused by a bell until Elizabeth’s intervention and subsequent injury reveal the bell’s source. The young shepherd Ruin admits his deception and attacks Elizabeth, who manages to remove the bell. Meliodas intervenes to fight Ruin while Diane confronts Holy Knight Friesia, defeating both opponents before the group proceeds to Baste Dungeon. Meanwhile, Ban overcomes Jude despite a chest wound. Upon entering the dungeon, Golgius attempts to trap them with an Eternal Seal Spell, but the structural damage from Ban and Meliodas’s reunion destroys the seal. Later, Dana provides a meal, but a sky omen predicts disaster for Britannia. In Liones, King is revealed to be alive and collaborating with Gilthunder.

The group reunites and travels to the Capital of the Dead to find the Sin of Sloth

Ban, Meliodas, and their companions have finally come together again after a long separation. With their reunion complete, the group sets out on a new mission to locate the Grizzly's Sin of Sloth. To find a clue regarding the sinner's whereabouts, they make their way to the Capital of the Dead. This journey marks a significant step forward in their quest, as they rely on the information they gather in this mysterious location to progress toward their ultimate goal.

King and Ban face off while Guila fights Meliodas, Diane, and Elizabeth

King and Ban engage in a final confrontation against each other. Meanwhile, Holy Knight Guila battles Meliodas, Diane, and Elizabeth. During the conflict, Ban recalls memories of Elaine and the Fountain of Youth.

Elaine Persuades King to Rescue Meliodas Amidst Growing Discontent in the Capital

Elaine succeeds in convincing King to undertake a rescue mission for Meliodas and his companions. Meanwhile, unrest begins to emerge within the ranks of the Holy Knights in the capital city.
