Furido informs Sora of his intention to utilize four corpses to save the Land of Fire. Naruto engages in combat with Fuka, who attempts to kill him and steal his chakra using the Reaper Kiss. However, the overwhelming power of the Nine-Tails fox proves too much for Fuka, forcing her to push him away. Meanwhile, Sakura, Sai, and Yamato are reunited. The monks arrive just as Furido's Four-Man Team flees the scene. This segment is part of the Twelve Guardian Ninja arc.
