Natsume Yuujinchou

Natsume possesses the ability to see supernatural creatures, a trait he inherited from his grandmother. Because of this, he often feels isolated. After moving to his grandmother's hometown, he unintentionally frees a spirit trapped in a cat statue and discovers her "Book of Friends," which holds the names of defeated yokai and grants control over them. Following this, various yokai begin appearing to him, some wanting their names returned and others seeking to claim the book for themselves.
