Ep. 9: Madara heals from a wound while Natsume guards a strange stone during the festival
Aired on August 30, 2011

Madara remains asleep for most of the time to recover from a poisonous arrow wound. Without Sensei present to offer protection, Natsume must stay vigilant at all times. This duty is complicated by a strange stone that appears to trigger unusual phenomena in his vicinity. Compounding these supernatural challenges is the school's cultural festival, where Natsume has been assigned to serve customers at the class bazaar. The dual burden of managing these mysterious occurrences and maintaining secrecy from his friends begins to overwhelm him, leading to significant emotional strain.
