Tsubaki shops for clothes when Ayuko discusses using first names with her boyfriend, Kouhei. She deduces that Tsubaki and Urabe do not use first names by performing an abridged drool swap with Tsubaki, then briefly confronts Urabe before leaving. At a park, Tsubaki whispers Urabe's first name, Mikoto, to her while she sleeps. He later dreams weirdly and asks for a photo of Urabe while walking to school. Waiting at a bridge, Tsubaki declines a coffee date invitation from his old crush, Aika Hayakawa. He finds Urabe hiding nearby, who claims she did not want to interrupt. During their walk back, they discuss Tsubaki's crush. After a drool swap, they understand each other's feelings, and Urabe allows Tsubaki to take a photo of her with her tongue sticking out.
