Despite her exceptional running skills, Urabe declines joining the track team to prioritize walking home with Tsubaki. When Tsubaki falls ill during the winter uniform period, Urabe recalls Ayuko’s advice regarding Kouhei and secretly wears a bikini under her coat. She then transfers saliva to Tsubaki, which successfully cures his cold. During the sports festival, Urabe leads her team to victory in the relay race. Although Tsubaki encourages her to join the track team, Urabe refuses once again, stating that she prefers spending time with Akira instead.
