Following an attack on Negi and Asuna by an unknown perpetrator, Nodoka becomes Negi's second partner. The events surrounding the disappearance and the subsequent assault drive the narrative as new allies emerge to assist in the unfolding crisis involving the missing artifact and the hostile individuals involved.
