Negi and three new partners face off against Kaede, Yuuna, and Chisame, who are controlled by the same evil being attacking the school. After an initial failure against them, Setsuna obtains a provisional contract to release the girls. The group must overcome their previous defeat to free their friends from the malevolent influence affecting the school. This confrontation involves utilizing new alliances and magical contracts to counter the ongoing threat posed by the controlling entity.
