Ep. 26: Nano's Birthday Party and the Wind-Up Key Revelation
Yuuko, Mai, and Mio plan a surprise birthday party for Nano. At the Shinonome Laboratory, the Professor creates a smaller wind-up key, but Sakamoto accidentally crushes it. He promises a replacement before Nano returns from school. Meanwhile, the Principal discovers his statue was swapped with the Vice-Principal's, exposing the latter's scheme when movers reveal the original statue. Yuuko avoids accidents while helping friends, then informs Nano of the party. Ms. Nakamura finds her cat Taisho, who is actually Sakamoto. He escapes her, horrified by her past neglect, while she asks Nano to return him. Upon returning home, Nano learns anyone could remove her wind-up key. She decides to keep it, realizing her friends accept her as a robot. The Professor reveals the crushed key was an add-on that spins when happy. Despite ruined cakes, everyone enjoys the celebration as Nano's key spins.
