Ep. 23: Archpriest Capel reveals Leonhart's true lineage before Set's tyranny is challenged by loyal allies.
Sariphi, Lante, and Bennu discover the undead Archpriest Capel chained in the palace. He reveals that the late king’s twin fathered Leonhart with a human, a secret Capel concealed by passing the infant off as royal blood. After Capel turns to dust, Set uses magic to restrain Leonhart and Jormungand, crucifying the prince publicly. Anubis captures the women and interrogates Sariphi about her feelings for Leonhart’s mixed heritage, to which she affirms her love. When Set orders her execution, Anubis betrays his master to protect Leonhart, allowing Galois, Joz, and their forces to arrive. Amidst news that Sarbul, Maasya, and Yoana’s forces reject Set’s rule, Amit destroys the miasma ward. Enraged by Sariphi’s defiance, Set blasts her skyward, but Leonhart leaps to catch her as Gwiber returns to beast form.
