Ep. 20: Sariphi seeks the Witch of Shidai to decode a royal letter in beast language.
Upon arriving in Yoana, Sariphi and Bennu are saved from fraud by Knight Commander Ocelot, who arrests Sariphi before verifying her identity. He releases her but notes the royal letter is in beast language, prompting a visit to the Witch of Shidai. The Witch, who resembles Leonhart’s human form, is initially hostile but softens after Sariphi defends her edelweiss garden. Sariphi’s mention of the flower’s meaning triggers a childhood memory for the Witch, who reveals her name is Anastasia. Sariphi collapses with a fever, leading Anastasia to share a diary written in beast language about an ancestor ostracized for a union with a beast. Suspecting a link to Leonhart, Sariphi requests the diary and asks Anastasia to read the letter at the palace. Meanwhile, Anubis catches Set sneaking into forbidden archives, where Set claims royal blood and knowledge of Leonhart’s secret.
