Directed by Akira Amemiya with character design by Yusuke Yoshigaki and animation production by Trigger, this story follows Takeshi Todo. Twenty-two years ago, he attempted to conquer the world alongside a devil from the computer realm. After reforming himself in the subsequent battle, he now requires the power of a hyper agent. Evil is once again manifesting in the real world as a materialized monster approaches. The narrative builds toward a confrontation, prompting the activation of a specific battle code. The access code is revealed to be GRIDMAN, signaling the return of the electronic superhuman to face this new threat.
