Marina, a mermaid who feels isolated, grows tired of living beneath the sea and desires to walk on land. To fulfill this wish, she visits a sea witch, who provides her with a magical whistle. Blowing the whistle allows her to switch between her mermaid form and a human one. While on land, she meets a prince and they develop feelings for each other. However, Marina cannot remain with him until she resolves her situation with the sea witch.
