Dokutate ninjas steal valuable black pepper goods belonging to Shinbei's father. Rantarou, Kirimaru, and Shinbei, who happened to be visiting, pursue the thieves to recover the stolen items. Due to being the slowest of the group, Shinbei falls behind the others during the chase. However, he finds himself face-to-face with a Dokutake ninja who is present at the scene. The situation escalates as Shinbei must deal with this immediate threat while his friends continue the pursuit ahead. This encounter creates a tense standoff for the young ninja who was left behind.
