Swordsmith Rokudou Tsujiemon requests that Tobe sensei view his newly crafted katana. Consequently, Tobe sensei and Kingo travel to meet him. Because it becomes too late for them to return to Ninjutsu Academy and there are no classes scheduled for the following day, they choose to remain at the inn for the night. During their stay, they notice a suspicious shadow trailing behind them, creating an atmosphere of uncertainty and potential danger as they settle in for the evening.
