Rantarou, Shinbei, and Kirimaru return to Doi-sensei's residence and find the door left open. Inside, they encounter Happousei, who intends to seize control of the property. However, instead of causing trouble, Happousei is observed cleaning the premises and distributing sweets to the residents. This behavior allows him to quickly establish friendly relations with the neighbors, surprising the young ninja who arrived to investigate the situation.
