Ep. 11: Koyomi confronts Yozuru and Yotsugi while Shinobu recovers strength to protect Tsukihi

After Shinobu reveals Tsukihi is a reincarnating phoenix, Koyomi leaves Karen guarding their home to face Yozuru and Yotsugi. Shinobu uses Koyomi’s blood to regain power and agrees to fight Yotsugi while Koyomi battles Yozuru. Yozuru discloses that Kaiki informed her of Tsukihi’s nature and that she, Oshino, and Kaiki were college friends. Upon learning Yotsugi was defeated by Shinobu, Yozuru prepares to fight the vampire, but Koyomi rises again, vowing never to abandon his sister. Recognizing his protective intent and refusal to kill Tsukihi, Yozuru surrenders and departs with her familiar. Koyomi returns home to tell Tsukihi he will introduce his girlfriend to his sisters. The episode concludes with Koyomi meeting Hitagi at a beach.
