Ep. 7: Koyomi confronts Kaiki while Karen recovers and Hitagi seeks comfort

Shinobu helps Koyomi locate Karen, leading to a fierce battle where he persuades her to let him handle Kaiki alone. Koyomi and Hitagi subsequently confront Kaiki, who reveals he is departing the city and that Karen will heal within days. Overcome with pent-up emotion, Hitagi allows Kaiki to leave without injury, declaring she can finally move forward and requesting Koyomi spend the night with her. The following day, Koyomi finds Karen fully recovered. Both sisters then rush out, citing remaining work to address the damage Kaiki inflicted on their classmates.
