Ep. 15: Chiaki's family supports his music while Nodame faces a new teacher and orchestra plans.

Chiaki and Nodame play music that wakes Chiaki's relatives, who then agree he should continue his studies. They also decide Nodame should pursue concert piano instead of teaching kindergarten to avoid bullying, though she feels uneasy and leaves alone. Back at school, Chiaki meets violinist Kiyora Miki, oboist Yasunori Kuroki, and cellist Toru Kikuchi to discuss forming a new orchestra. Nodame is officially transferred to Etoh-sensei, known for hitting people with a white fan. That night, Chiaki attends a drinking party with the new orchestra members to choose their first performance piece. Meanwhile, Mine's father informs Chiaki that Nodame visited looking for him but did not eat anything.
