Nokemono-tachi no Yoru

In Victorian England, a young orphan named Wisteria survives by begging for food. She possesses the rare ability to see through demonic disguises and forms a bond with Marbas, an immortal being who has endured centuries of loneliness. Despite their differences, a connection develops between them. Marbas avoids the Sword Cross Knights, a group that hunts him, which includes Wisteria’s own brother. The story explores whether their unlikely relationship can lead to happiness and what sacrifices may be required.
