Ep. 1: Ichijou Hotaru transfers to a small rural school with only four other students.

Ichijou Hotaru moves from Tokyo to Asahigaoka Branch School because of her parents' job. Her new school is very small, containing only five students in total. The group includes Koshigaya Natsumi, who acts as the moodmaker; Koshigaya Komari, who is the oldest among the girls; and Miyauchi Renge, the youngest student who possesses a unique sense of perception. This narrative introduces the daily lives and interactions of these five girls as they navigate their existence in a quiet, sleepy countryside setting.
