Twenty-five years have passed since The Avatar prevented conflict between Earth and the Crogs. Now, Earth receives an invitation to compete in The Great Race of Oban, an event that occurs only once every 10,000 years. At the same time, a young girl leaves her boarding school. She embarks on a personal journey with the goal of finding her father, whom she has not seen in 10 years. These two distinct storylines unfold as the planet prepares for the upcoming interstellar competition.
