Miyu questions her skills after being challenged by fortune-telling callers. Sarai contacts her, revealing visions of him beside his deceased father, and urges a visit, noting her power only shows the future. In the present, Yuta finds Professor Hashigami dead with the word CODE written in blood. A voice on his radio orders him to remove a golden tooth from the jaw, a task he completes before Shun Moritsuka arrives. Shun reports to police, mentioning a familiar doujinshi, but is dismissed. He then contacts an unknown man regarding a specific list. Meanwhile, Ryoka and Miyu test a curse rumor on Yuta. Shun interviews witnesses and learns from Toko about Ria Minase, who kept her dead brother’s body for a year after refusing to accept his death.
