Oct 9, 2016Yuuta Gamon works at a Kichijouji cafe to boost his occult news website. Ryoka Narusawa arrives as Yuuta sees classmate Miyu Aikawa on TV. They invite her for an interview to increase traffic. Miyu claims her future is bright with Yuuta, so he adds her to the team. The girls then pressure Yuuta to interview Professor Hashigami. Meanwhile, Sarai Hashigami leaves a lecture to see her father, following fortune-teller advice. Touko Sumikaze discusses a manuscript from Professor Hashigami with her magazine editor, noting his mother is dead. Aria Kurenaino helps a customer curse someone, then finds a bloody scalp in her mailbox. Later, Yuuta plays with a bloody knife at the Professor's desk and discovers his corpse.

He then contacts an unknown man regarding a specific list. Meanwhile, Ryoka and Miyu test a curse rumor on Yuta. Shun interviews witnesses and learns from Toko about Ria Minase, who kept her dead brother’s body for a year after refusing to accept his death.
