Asuna Kisaki, a high school-aged FBI agent with psychometry skills, is tasked with continuing the work of the deceased Shun. Yuta struggles to reconcile his death with his ability to interact with solid objects, though most people ignore him. Toko suggests their souls are separated from their bodies, while Sarai seeks a logical explanation. Asuka follows Shun's trail as he plans his next move. Zonko contacts Yuta via his radio, urging him to visit Inokashira Park to verify if his body is among the dead. Asuka attempts to use her psychometry on the bodies but cannot hear their thoughts as they walk into the lake one by one. When she touches Yuta's corpse, she briefly sees his active spirit staring at his own dead form.
